Hedgehogs Class will be visiting The Living Rainforest in Newbury on Monday 9th November in connection with our topic on plants, biomes, habitats and their sustainability. We will be leaving and returning within the school day.

The children will require a packed lunch and a drink in a shatterproof, leak proof container. Please put their packed lunch in a plastic bag so that it can be thrown away.

They should all wear their school uniform which should include layers to allow for the changes in temperature at the Living Rainforest, they will also need a light waterproof coat.

Those children entitled to free school meals are eligible for a packed lunch from school. Please let the school office know if this is something you would like provided.

We would appreciate a voluntary contribution of £19.00 per child to cover the cost of the visit and coach travel. The children will not need any additional money on the day.
There is no slip to complete as permission can be granted on-line via the Arbor App along with your contribution. Please be aware that should we not receive enough contributions, we cannot guarantee that the visit will go ahead. Thank you very much for your support.

Please could all consents and contributions be made by Wednesday 4th November 2026.
